CHAPTER 37

“Hey…”

A faint familiar voice immediately called Keira the moment she slowly opened her eyes. She heard a subtle ringing in her ear and grunted the pain that slowly crept in from her foot. When she turned her head to the side, she saw Zane’s figure still blurry in her eyes. That’s when a spur of her memory flashed in her head that made her open her eyes completely.

“Hey.” Zane once again softly called out. He was sitting on a stool beside Keira’s bed.

After bringing her home last night, Zane decided to stay for the night to finally talk to his best friend about what happened during their full moon encounter. Keira’s parents thought they just hangout last night and Zane took her home because she tripped on her foot and causing a minor injury that rendered her unable to walk, so her best friend had to carry her on his back.
