(Ethan’s POV)
Izobel would never admit if she were in pain, but I could read in her eyes she was hurt by my decision.
“But I want Mr. Rodriguez to do it, not you, Izobel,” I said, and she nodded again, turning her back on me without saying anything.
Worried, Amber followed her twin. Whether she would cry or not, this is not the best time to put Izobel in danger again.
“Why?” Connor asked, walking towards me as he stood beside me. “Why deceive Izobel that you want your memories to be erased, Ethan?”
