(Izobel’s POV)

It has always been us, my parents, Connor, and me for a long time. Although Mom and Dad dreamt of us meeting our soulmates, it has never occurred to me that it would be awkward like this.

Deidra sat on the corner of the living room, and she meekly stayed there, looking afraid at me as if I would bite her. As Connor described her, she was beautiful. Her waist-long hair was braided, and her oval-shaped face has beautiful features of eyes, nose, and lips. She is still young at fifteen, and she has been marked, but my brother told me he had not sealed the bond yet, and he was willing a lifetime for the right moment.

My eyes shifted to the three babies in the crib. They were sleeping like angels, and Deidra didn’t need to tell more because I could smell that the babies were not wolves like her. Their smell their blood was telling me they were hybrid like me.
