(Izobel’s POV)

“Izobel,” Ethan called my name again.

“Did you do that again on purpose?” I whimpered, looking down and closing my eyes to avoid the sight of the blood, but I knew he did not wipe it yet because I could still smell it. My nostrils lustfully told me to taste it.

“No,” Ethan said in a serious voice. “Do you want it, Izobel?”

I shook my head, trying to think of my favorite food, the ones my mom cooks, and not his blood. The scent became stronger when Ethan moved to my side.

“Izobel, open your eyes,” He uttered, taking a paper towel behind me to wipe the blood. “Doing that is scarier, you know.”
