Hayley stuffed a few clothes in her duffle bag, took one last look around the room and left.

She walked to the edge of the town without looking back, then crawled under the wire.

''You really like trouble, don't you?"

Hayley looked over at Aspen. He only had on a pair of ripped jeans and was eating an apple.

"Nice seeing you again. I'm actually glad that you came. I want your help to cross the mountain."

"I'm afraid I can't do that."

"Why not?"

"Because if is dangerous, you have no food and no proper clothing, you won't survive for even a day."

"Ok, then tell me why you call me Ciri the first time we met?"

"Yeah, so maybe if we follow the river to its source, we can get to the mountain, but it won't be easy." Aspen said.

"Fine, never mind. I'll figure things out on my own." Hayley walked off after that.
