Days went by before Hayley let her wolf out again, and when she did, Kane found her. She was simply laying on a rock close to the river sunning her coat and lazing around.

Hayley got up to run away from him, but he gave chase after her, dropping the food he brought.

"No, wait, I didn't mean to scare you. Don't run away." Kane called into her mine.

Hayley skid to a stop, then spun around to run in the other direction.

"Wait, just tell me who you are."

Hayley gave him a look, and before he could give chase again, another wolf called for him.

Hayley shifted back to her human form with a sigh.

"Why can't I just tell him?" She asked herself, hating that she was hiding from him.
