Hayley ran into Sam and Axel on her way down the stairs. The two pulled away from each other as if they were mischievous kids who just got caught.
"Come on guys, you two are mates and we are like adults. No need to be shy."
Sam did a little giggle.
"Hayley, I never told you this. But thank you, you helped me a lot by helping me break free of Davina's ability. No longer do I have those headaches, and I'm truly happy now." Sam said, pulling Hayley into a hug.
"It was no problem, Axel asked, I delivered."
Sam gave her a nodding smile before pulling Axel away.
The moment Hayley got outside, she could hear a few pack members talking about the vampire that was still on the loose.
"I am not too keen on being out and about like this. The vampire can easily kill one of us."
