Almost two weeks had passed since the Silver Crest Pack returned to their territory and they had pretty much returned to their former glory already—if not most definitely surpassed it, that is.

Killian had been made head of the werewolf Council, and already, plans were underway to regroup the small werewolf communities into much larger groups so they could be better protected. Not only that, but the communities had been receiving grain and aid while the plans were being drawn out, and they were also being guarded in case of emergencies like an unexpected attack.

Truly, it had been a stressful, but fruitful two weeks. So busy that Killian had barely had the time to see his mate… or even rest with her, yet alone to talk of having a quick tumble in the sheets.
