Chapter 4

“It is a journey of power. You have to join forces with the Blue Britain pack and the Purple Front pack. Gather up to three hundred people and until then, you would know what next to do or you can summon me back then. If not.” she said and vanished into thin air.

Trevor was stunned where he sat down. This was not what he was expecting. He had thought it would be something about some people trying to overrule them and did not expect it to be joining forces with other packs. And to talk about it, the Blue Britain and Purple Front pack, they were known to be the strongest packs in the wolf world.

The Blue Britain was the strongest then followed by the Purple Front. It seemed almost impossible for him to join them. He was just a small pack that is losing the lives of their members and soon they might be taken and wiped out of existence. This made him hiss in frustration. Everything just seems to be getting back at a point. No way out for them.

“At least there is one for you now.” his wolf mind linked him.

This was not the time for jokes. He yawned in frustration. He wanted to tell someone about it that could advise him but there was no one. He could have used the elders but they turned they're back against him the moment his father died. He was still in search of his mate. He had wanted to ask the moon goddess about this also but he attack was on the verge of his mind. He checked the time and saw that it was some minutes past two o clock. He just needed to take a bit of rest and think about it tomorrow. Then maybe he would know what to do. He went to check the pack doctor and saw that he was almost done with the injured guards. Even Malcolm had taken shift and has gone to bed. He bid the rest of the guard a good morning and told them he would be back soon again. Some looked at him in annoyance and some in pity. He was trying his best, but his best was not yielding. It made him feel inferior. He had to think of what to do since his best has now been put aside. Maybe he should follow what the moon goddess said and give it a try, a voice said to him or maybe he could just continue his best, another said.

He let all his thoughts go to the back of his mind and let go of everything. He just needed to sleep at first.

••••••••••••••••

In another pack, Alpha Justin was busy raising his voice at his subordinates and guards. His Beta and advisor dared not calm him down. They allowed him to ramble on everything he wanted to say before saying anything else. He was an unpredictable person, not knowing what could become next of his character.Alpha Justin has always liked war apart from this one. It was already confusing to him as he could not say if this was a war anymore. He had taken it with levity at the beginning until it became unstoppable and anonymous. No leads to who was attacking them and all traces were always erased by those people. This has made him trust fewer people and made him an angry wolf.

“Tell me, who amongst you is he spy? Because I don't know how they do attack us whenever I am busy doing something or after I leave the border. One of you must be to telling them what time to come. You should confess now because if I find out, you would not like the rest of your life.” he said authoritatively.

They all could feel the authority in which he used to talk. He was getting angry and they had to do something about it. They were already shaking. This was not the first time their Alpha was losing his temper on them but the end result is not always something they look forward to. They could only pray that today would be different.

David, his beta stepped forward to talk on behalf of he and his other subordinates and guards.

“We have to trust each other on this matter, your highness. If there is a spy amongst us, we would catch them but now all we need is a way out. We need to find a way to reduce this attack, we are losing a way more mm than we bargained for.” David said and bowed.

This made Justin get more angry. Was he saying he was not looking for a way forward?

“So why is it that I never see all this things and we never find traces. They know when to come and when not to. And you are all telling me that one of you is not the spy? Don't give me that crap.” Justin growled at them all.

They all kept quiet. Both the beta and no one else dared to talk anymore. Alpha Justin looked at them in silence and got more irritated with their silence. This could not stop the attack if hey all kept quiet, it is nothing to them but disaster.

“So now you are all deaf and dumb? No one can take out of all of you right? David, take care of he injured people. I need to cool down about this. Get the pack doctor and tell him he needs to be here now. All the injured guards must survive or else he would not want to hear the rest of it.” he said and stood up.

He left the place and went to his room. David started giving orders immediately he left the place. He sent a guard to call the pack doctor and others to their various duties. He could not afford to face the wrath of the Alpha. The injured were taken to the care room as they await the pack doctor.

He came in rushing afterwards and panting with the guard at his back. It was a bad choice being the doctor of this pack, he thought to himself.
