Oh My God! She Saw Him Again

Lucia went straight to the place where she had kept the number safe, she took it out and typed the number and then saved it as Mr. Stranger.

She wanted to message him, but she doesn’t know what exactly to say. Should she shamelessly ask for Mr.  Derek's house address? No, that would be creepy! But how then would she meet him? 

Before she could realize it, she drifted to sleep without accomplishing her goal for the night. She couldn’t send Mr. Stranger any single message at the end. 

The next morning, she woke up early as usual, ate breakfast with her family and dressed to work after she must have helped her grandmother do the house chores. Off course the woman didn’t dare to refuse because her strength wasn't there as usual.  And she needed assistance. 

As she arrived in the orphanage, She had a good time with the children that day. As always, she felt like she was filled with lots of energy. Perhaps being with the adorable kids all day gave her lots of joy and happiness. 

When she left the orphanage, she entered her car and drove back home. Lucia wanted to go home early And she forgot her plan of sending a message to that stranger. 

Despite her busy day at work with the children, the outrageous, gorgeous Mr. Derek’s face still popped on her head occasionally. Strangely, she couldn’t completely take off her mind despite the kind of day she had. 

As she drove back home, ice had already covered the road, so she had to drive very slow. Their house was outside the city, so it took her an hour before getting to her house. Her grandparents were old, so they needed a quiet place to live away from the rumbling noise of the city and that was why they chose to live in such a place. 

At this time, the road home was empty but since her house was near a protected national park, the road back home would be across a forested area. In fact, the entire place was surrounded by thick green tress which made the road scary. 

The icy road was dangerous, but Lucia was used to it, and she always drove carefully, and her car was pretty slow despite the road being empty. 

As she turned into the straight road in the middle of a forested area, Lucia accelerated a little. Out of the blue, she saw a deer run across the road in front of her. She immediately stepped on her brake pedal, but it looked like she must have reacted too late because she was sure she was going to hit it. 

However, before she knew it, her tire squealed as she swerved and thankfully, she barely avoided hitting the deer and a passing vehicle. But then in the next seconds, she heard a loud, deafening thud. She realized that her car crashed into something, but when she looked carefully, she saw that it was a car that her car had crashed on. 

The car she hit screeched towards the right, and it hit the tree by the roadside. 

Lucia's car halted but thanks to her seat belt, she was safe without even a scratch. 

At that point, she started hearing the sound of her heart beat, and she felt her hand trembling in fear but had no choice but to force herself to calm down a little. 

What came to her mind was the person in the other car and when she saw that it actually hit a tree, her heart started pounding fast that she heard the sound so loud that she couldn’t imagine.

“ Oh my God, are they okay?” she said with fear.

She didn’t wait for a moment, she rushed out of the car, running towards the other car. She ran towards the direction and when she got there, the car door opened, and then she saw a man in his 50s, she was convinced that he was okay, but she needed to be certain.

“ Are you okay, sir? I am sorry, I was trying to avoid hitting the deer before this”……

She apologized in fear, Lucia knew she was in a bigger trouble but what else could she say? 

Without a word, The man creased his brows upon seeing the damaged car. Lucia had to calm down a little because it seemed that the man looked carefree or not worried at all about what had just happened. 

She then followed his line of sight and when she saw the kind of car she had damaged, she tried controlling her tears from pouring and luckily, it worked.

“ Where will I get such amount of money to pay for my damage? Of all car, why this one”. 

Without answering her, the old man walked around the car and opened the passenger’s seat.

“ Sir, what are we going to do now? The car is damaged”

He said as Lucia immediately followed him to know who he was talking to.

When she saw that man’s figure at the back seat who was referred to as “sir” by the old man, she concluded that he was the owner of the car.

“ I am sorry sir, I was trying to avoid hitting the ……

Suddenly, the girl trailed off as soon as she realized who the man was.

This man! She was shocked. Of all people, why him? What was this gorgeous creature even doing here, of all places?” she asked herself. Why must it be his car?

She crossed path with this man who had called her unattractive after these years? Who knows what he would say to her this time around? Her dream man was right in front of her at the wrong time. Lucia wasn’t putting on any fancy cloth, She was just almost looking like the way he first saw her. She was disappointed that he actually saw her at the wrong time, she wanted to prove to him that she was attractive, but why must he show up now? This wasn’t the right time at all.
