‘I cannot believe he banished us, rejected me, and threatened to have us ripped to shreds. I knew, if I wouldn’t have had this child, things would have been fine.’ Amber kept thinking to herself.

I had no choice but to run back home. I wasn’t looking forward to telling my father everything. I look down at the small child in my arms, and I am tempted to leave her here for the Rouges. As the car pulled up to my father’s pack house, I slowly let a breath out preparing myself for his wrath.

“Amber! My baby girl is home. Oh, and who is this?” Alpha Alex, my father asked.

The joy on his face was killing me, I hated being the reason he would be angry.

“Father, can we speak somewhere where we don’t have eyes on us?” I asked nervously.

I nodded to the pack that was now staring, but mainly because my much younger step mother was watching. Don’t get me wrong, I didn’t always hate her. I mean can you blame me? We were best friends in school, then one day my father announced that she was his second chance mate. She could have turned him down, but she had always been power hungry. It wasn’t until we were sitting on the cold leather couch inside his office, that I finally felt free to speak.

“Father, why would the Moon Goddess give me a mate of a different specie? I couldn’t fight the mate bond and ended up pregnant with Rebel here.” I cried out nodding down toward the sleeping infant in my arms.

“Somehow, Alpha Trevor found out she wasn’t his, and rejected me. Father I am so sorry, I know you are disappointed in me, I couldn’t fight it. He is also the King of Magic. I don’t know what to do, or where to go.” I sobbed out, hoping he wouldn’t toss me out like last weeks trash.

We sat there in silence after I finished explaining the huge ordeal to my father. He sat back stroking his beard as he thought.

“Do you want to keep this, disgrace?” He asked without looking at me.

“No daddy, she ruined everything because she was born.”

Again silence, only this time I knew he linked someone. Shortly after his eyes returned to normal, a light knock sounded on his door.

*Knock* *Knock*

“Come in Skylar!” He said.

In walked a petite woman in her early 20s, she’d be stunning if not for the rags she wore, or the fact she looked like she hadn’t showered in ages.

“You called for me Alpha?” She feebly replied.

“Yes, I have something for you. Your work duties have been lacking since you lost your pup, so here take this thing. Raise her as your own, I will provide the necessary items. Will that be a problem?” He questioned, as if an Omega would say no.

Skylar’s eyes held a longing look as she looked down at my daughter. Well her new daughter, just another Omega.

“Thh..aan..kkk you Alpha!” She sobbed out.

“As soon as she is of age, you are to put her to work in the kitchens. Do I make myself clear?” He demanded.

“Yes Alpha.”

“Good, now get this miscreant out of my face! No one is to ever know she is a hybrid of Alpha blood and Warlock. And, absolutely under any circumstances my her true parents be named. Her father is dead as soon as I find him, and my daughter is the mother. If anything comes up you are to ask me directly. No one else, not even the Luna. She is never to know the identity of this child, or she will have her killed!”

“Father, don’t forget her name. So we can keep track of her. You know, just in case.” I chimed in.

“If you insist princess. You are to call her Rebel Teller. She is a disgraceful creature and is lucky I didn’t kill her. Make sure she follows the rules, otherwise it’s you who will suffer.” He threatened.

I was so relieved my father still loved me after this. A part of me was sad about giving my child up, but I knew it had to be done. I didn’t want that cursed brat to ruin anything else for me. After dismissing the Omega, my father glanced at me lovingly.

“You are my only daughter, I could never turn my back on you. If it wasn’t for you, I wouldn’t have met my second wife and Luna, Ashley. Go on, go see your mother, I'm sure she's missed you.”

I could feel the vomit creeping up my throat, swallowing it down I mumbled my thanks through clenched teeth. Now all I needed to do, was try to get my mate back. Or find another Alpha that was mate less.

While in my room I was left with my thoughts. The hatred I had for that little brat grew, the more I thought about how her birth destroyed everything I had. I lost my mate, my title, my home, and all for some useless child. I wanted to kill her, but I knew the Moon Goddess would never forgive me. However, I do plan to make her life as miserable as mine is. She will know how unwanted and useless she truly is. My lips curled into a smile as I thought of all the ways to punish Rebel.

Meanwhile in the Enchanted Forrest……

“FIND HER! I DON’T CARE WHAT IT TAKES. I WANT MY DAUGHTER! ANY WOLF HIDING HER SHALL DIE!” The King shouted.

“But Sire, that would break the treaty, we must contact the council.”

With a flick of his wrist the King insinuated the guard. Looking around the room at everyone there, he could smell their fear. Good.

“Anyone else dare to question my order?”

“No your grace!”

“Leave!”

With that every hunter, witch, warlock in his command scrambled to the exit. No one else wanted to feel his wrath.

“Soon my little girl, soon. I will have you back home.”

No matter what it costs, how many had to die he vowed then and there, that he would have his daughter home. He couldn’t believe the wolf denied him, so he destroyed the Alpha in front of everyone there.
