Chapter 96

I leaned against the counter, sipping tea Olivia had made. She didn’t seem to need to sleep but was happy to sit on the couch as I fell asleep with my head on her lap. Her hands brushed through my hair as she hummed different songs that lulled me to sleep. My alarm went off at 5 a.m. to get ready for the day, but I didn’t know what I was going to do now. I was worried about letting her go, wanting to take Olivia with me, but if her guess was correct, she might not be able to stray too far from the ley line.

She was standing in the kitchen with me, smiling at me as she sipped some tea as well. Changing out of her dress from last night, she was now wearing jeans and a band shirt. Both were hilariously big on her, but she looked much more normal.

“What if only I can see you? Everyone will think I have gone crazy.”

Olivia chuckled and lifted the mug to her lips. “I think it might be too late for that.”

I scoffed. “I’m serious, Olivia.”

“I think you worry too much.”

Please do not give us false hope and temporary glee and then had us bawling with their separation again ..

Just hope Vi wouldn’t leave them again.. not after they had just experienced the happiness and comfort the reunion and togetherness brought them.. the 2 rascals also need their mother by their sides not just in dreams
