Chapter 43: The Sewers

It was official, I was one hundred percent sure, we were lost. Hours have passed since we entered the sewers. So far, we were in the clear of any infected, having lost them over an hour ago.

They had managed to get in behind us, but they were just as lost as we were. The one thing we had going for us, is that the smell of the sewers was masking our scent. It didn’t help that we also were unable to use the scents of the infected to stay clear of them.

Once again, we were at another dead end after finding, yet another brick wall. This was frustrating me to no end. I knew we were under the city, but I didn’t know where. I also didn’t know how to get out.

The only one that knew how to get out was currently lying under the lab with a rod sticking out of his heart. If we didn’t find a way out soon, we were going to be overrun with more rogues. Pacing the small section, where a wall was preventing us from going further, I tried to think of a way to get out of here.
