The day had finally come, the day when all eighteen-year-olds and those soon to be eighteen would turn to wolves for the first time. Dracah and Luna gave in to their undeniable desire for each other and weren’t ready for the full moon yet because they both feared that they may not end up together. Luna kept her thoughts from Dracah while Dracah hid his doubts under several layers of hope that they would indeed be together.
When all teenagers had arrived at the moon cave along with their parents or guardian, Alpha Remorah stood in front of them alongside his wife Luna Violet. Alpha Remorah would have to hand over his title to Dracah even though he fears that Dracah’s wolf is too powerful for his own good. Luna Rue ran as fast as she could, I could sense her fear, I now knew she dreaded this as much as I did.
