My wolf picked up an unknown smell when I was sleeping, and immediately, I sat on the bed to see who was around.

"Angel?" I looked at my mate, who was standing in front of me in black clothes from top to boat with a long black coat that I believed belonged to Aunt Emma.

'She is not our mate.', Roman growled, picking her scent and the way she was dressed up. She didn't hold the warmness in her eyes that my mate had. Or maybe I was waiting after years or something.

"Come here!", She said, signaling to me with her finger. Even the voice was the same. Roman warned me, but I still went near her.

She chuckled evilly before speaking, "I didn't know it was that hard to control an Alpha mutt.", Immediately, Roman growled at her choice of words.

"What kind of tone is this?" her eyes widened as if she was not expecting to hear this from me.

'I'm telling you something is off. I can smell the scent of my mate from the living room.'
