I sat on my chair as I watch Leon speak over the phone. I replay the way Athena looked earlier and I know that there is something more than what she led me to believe. I know that there is something that she is not telling me. I remember how she and Mikey were trembling when Calvin and I reached them.

The Athena I know was never afraid, she was never scared. Whatever happened in the bookstore shook her.

“Our trackers found an opening in the far side of the city. It seems like whoever destroyed the wall did it slowly,” Leon said.

“Do you know how long it took before the wall gave in?” I asked.

“Calvin and Nori are checking the site,” Leon replied. “They might give us a better idea of the status of the wall.”

I nodded.

“I think we should start with stage two of our new warrior's training,” Leon said. “The rogues that we have been seeing not only from our pack but also from our Alliance packs are starting to bother me. I just feel that these are just tests, like how strong each of t
