Fate, you heartless b*tch

'MATE!' her wolf screamed in her ears. She looked up to look at the new kid and their eyes met. She quickly looked away. This feeling was too much for her. Everything she was told about finding ones' mate was an understatement for this felt more that just love at first sight. A wave of emotion hits her over and over again as she heard him introduce himself to the class and took his sit at the far end of the class.

Light-POV

A human.... I am mated to a human. What the hell? This isn't happening. I was supposed to be mated to a sucessful wolf but a human? My father is going to kill me... wait a minute... am i not breathing? I was holding my breath for as long as i can and suddenly 'puuu' i let out a huge and loud breath. I can feel every ones' eyes on me including the teachers'. But the one that burned the most was the gaze that was coming from behind me and i know whose it was.

'Ms. Angle, are you alright?' Our history teacher asked. Since this was an extension class i just stood up and ran out. I was breathing hard as i ran out of the school. I don't even know where i was going until i found myself sitting at the filed as some if the students run laps over and over again. My wolf is howling trying to take control. I didn't know for how long i was sitting there for but after a while Marcy came looking for me with my bag.

"What the hell happened to you?" She asked. After a long while of looking for an excuse, i failed. So i told her i was getting sick and that i needed to go home. After a taxi and a ten minute walk later, i finally reached home.

All i wanted to do was go to my room, bury myself in my bed and never wake up. As i walked towards my house, members of the pack kept greeting me, some even stopped me in my track to tell me about their days. I might be in a bad mood but i never ignore my pack members for one day i will be their luna. But now that i think about it, i might have to hold on the idea of being a luna for my mate was a human.

As soon as i walked in, my mother jumped out of her seat.

"Why are you already back? Are you sick?" She asked worried.

Yes, i was sick. But not in the infectious way. It was a squeez on my chest and a trobing headache. I looked at her, gave her a soft yet 'i don't want to talk about it' smile and walked up to my bedroom.

My room was deam coloured brown and not much furniture. It was never girly since i was a child, i was never interested in that kind of stuff. For people who didn't know me, they would think this was a mans' room. I dropped myself on my bed and recalled what had happened today. I found my mate.

He had such a nice voice, and deep blue eyes that were compaling. A thick brown hair covered the top of his head. Sharp nose and a well shaped jaw line. And his lips...

What the hell am i thinking about? If father find out, he will kill me. Obviously he will tell me to reject him. Fate, you heartless b***h. I can't stay here and think about this. So before my wolf takes over and i lose control, i decided to go for a run. As soon as i got close to the forest, i tore through my clothe and changed running through the forest. After a while, i reached the lake. I sat over at the water and stared at my reflection. My wolf was gray with a dark circle on my right eye. My wolf was too big for a woman. It's even bigger than every single warrior we had in my pack as it is equal to my fathers wolf. Having a wolf as big as the alphas' gave me a different aura that most higher rank wolfs don't posses. I kept howling over and over until i heard a sound behind me. It was my mother. She looked worried and had a faint smile on her face. She held up an over sized t-shirt and a black short as to tell me to change. I changed back to human form and wore the clothe she brought for me.

"So tell me what happened." She asked in the softest tone possible. I told her everything except for the fact that he was a human. She was happy for me and couldn't wait to tell my dad. The walk back to home was long and quite. As soon as we walked in, my father ran and wrapped his entire body on mine, squeezing the life out of me. I can tell he already knows because mom might have told him through the mind link.

"I am so happy for you. So, tell me. Who is this lucky wolf?"

My heart is beating in my chest. He is going to be so heart broken when he finds out that it was not a lucky wolf but a lucky human. When no answer came out of my mouth, my father started to frown.

"Tell me he is not an omega." He said because how could a daughter of the alpha be mated to the lowest rank of wolfs? Had he not know that my mate was lower than an omega.

"No." I answered.

"Then, what is his rank?" He asked holding my shoulder with his hands.

"He doesn't have a rank!" He looked at me confused so i quickly tore every thing apart. "He's a human!"

As soon as he heard that, he released my shoulders and walked away from me. I can feel how much disappointed he was of me. His alpha aura spread across the room in anger. His aura was intimidating to everyone but me. When my mother felt his anger "Love, calm down." She said to him.

He turned around and looked at me as if he was throwing daggers all over my body. And with two words, he told me how he felt.

"Reject him!"
