Chapter 45 Faults

I felt relieved when I saw Tyrelle standing before us, but it was soon dismissed when I saw the look on his face. It was a mixture torn between anger and regret.

“How long have you been hiding, pup?” Al broke the awkward silence by asking him a question.

“Enough to hear your sappy backstory.” I am guessing that it was supposed to sound insulting, but the right tone just wasn’t there. In fact, he sounds more sorry than insulting Al. He sighs. “I guess you were not behind her kidnapping, huh.”
