Chapter 64 - Cowardance

"Hey, Nat."

My head turned to Ethan, snapping my attention away from the campfire they had started up hours ago.

"I'm heading in first." He muttered, visibly exhausted as he weakly pointed towards his tent before he sneaked inside it for the night.

I replied with a nod, though I doubt he even noticed it. Seeing him trudging his way around, patrolling the site in the evening was enough to show how out of it he was for the day.

I heaved a sigh, forcing my legs to straighten itself from the ground as I trailed along the area. Now that the dark sky had dawn upon us, only a couple of us were seen outside of the tent.

Most of them stayed up to guard the surroundings. And only when they had kept surveillance long enough would they wake the others, trading places for them to fall into slumber.

It had already been three days we had tried to find some hints of where he was, to no avail. All we did was hop from one place to another, following Thomas's so-called 'I remembere
