I wrapped my arms around my wife hugging her tightly.

“You take it easy today, malyshka. If anything happens, just call me and I’ll be back in a few minutes” I said cupping my wife’s cheeks. She smiled and nodded, she stood on her toes and connected our lips making me smile. I rested my forehead against her own.

“Don’t worry, love, I’ll be fine. I have Natasha by my side if anything happens, and I’ll be sure to be easy on myself until you’ve arrived” Kiara said smiling. I nodded and wrapped my arms around her shoulder as the two of us walked out of the room and down the stairs. I was thankful for her being safe and happy. I knew that she still felt pain for our lost child, though she made sure not to show it to anyone, she was my wife, I could read her like an open book.
