“That’s my beauty” I said encouraging Alexandra who smiled. She clapped her hands in satisfaction and Kiara kissed her temple proudly.

“Would you be joining us, mum?” Alexandra asked. Kiara looked at me and I smiled nodding at her. The respect she had for me to at least ask for something like this made me smile, it was a silent agreement between the two of us. The respect for one another was mutual, but the fact that she taught our kids not to cross their father by showing them that she herself trusted him before even they did was something that I appreciated a lot.
