Chapter Seventy - Six

The one that got away:

Nora followed Kip down the long hall. She kept her eyes focused on her surroundings but didn't try looking into any of the rooms. She didn't want to see any more horrors. Kip glanced over his shoulder and noticed Nora’s discomfort and began hitting the buttons on the wall as he passed them. The dark gray wall became clear as Nora walked by each one. Each room held the same horror but different stage. Somewhere just starting to  shift, some didn't make it and laid dead on the floor. The nurse in the room looked relieved. Others were the Lobo standing over the person nurse’s dead body.

“Why don’t you let the nurses out?” Nora asked as they passed by another room.

“At first it was because I didn't care, I wanted to see what my creation would do. Now it's more of a fear cont
