"Yeah, she's my daughter" the woman smiled

"What?!!" Leonardo exclaimed

"You look surprised" the woman pointed

"What.... no..... no..... I just..."

"Why does it feel like you know my daughter" she said and Leonardo sighed

"I'm her boss at work"

"Oh my, really?! Isn't this such a beautiful coincidence" she smiled

"Why don't you come in with me and have a cup of coffee before you go"

"Oh no, thanks ma'am" Leonardo declined

He wasn't about to see Lily again, not after what happened like an hour ago

"Oh please dear, I insist and don't call me ma'am, I'm Linda or Mrs Derulo if you want to stick to the formalities" she said

"Thank you Mrs Derulo but it's pretty late and I have to run along" Leonardo said hoping Lily's Mom would let her go

"Still, I can't let you go like that, not after finding out you are my daughter's boss perhaps, a cup of coffee won't hurt anyone so let's go" Mrs Derulo said as she got down from the car and Leonardo had no choice but to do so too
