Lola~

I stepped into the room shakily, my breathe hitched as I laid my gaze upon the woman lying on the bed, eyes closed and looking as frail as possible. I inhaled sharply as I walked closer to her but still cautious. Her eyes flew open and I found myself staring right back at her.

A frail smile made it’s way to her lips “Lola.” She called out my name, stretching her hand to me, I looked at her outstretched hand and back at her, I could see the hope glittering in her brown orbs. Dad’s warning ringing endlessly in my ears. ‘Don’t say anything to stress her, Lola.' He warned.
