The morning sun shines brightly through the balcony window which I left open because the view warms me but today I just want to quickly run away. Today started just like any other, me and dad both up at the crack of dawn. Me shuffling through the kitchen to prepare breakfast before our busy day at work. Walking inside my home I call out to my father and listen for his voice, but it never comes I look inside his room and I see that his suitcases are no longer there. I slept the entire day away and most of the evening, when I awoke my eyes were swollen and puffy.
