“Do you have to go?” I asked, taking my lip in between while my back rested against the nearest wall.
“I have been told I am an excellent company, Luna, but this makes them all look trivial.”
“Oh shush! I am only asking because there is no one else to give me a tour around.”
Ethan made a mock offended sound, placing a hand on his chest and gripping it dramatically. “Way to break a heart.”
I suppressed a giggle, rolling my eyes at him. There was something about the Alpha that I could not pinpoint, but that made me stay with him longer. Besides, apart from my maid, there was no one else to talk to.

Everyone cleared from the kitchen the minute I stepped inside. It’s like they all knew about this tradition, silly smiles on their face. However, I did not find it amusing. With my hand on the hip, I perused the racks and cupboards, mouth twisting.What could I possibly make to sell our relationship?
