59. Alone together in darkness
Lillian went back to the classroom to look for her phone and saw Shadow there. She avoided looking at him and looked for her phone where she sat during class.
Shadow saw her searching for something.
“What are you looking for?” He saw and walked towards her to help her.
“My phone. I can’t find it.” She told him.
He took out his phone to call on hers, but as soon as he turned his screen on, his phone died because he was out of battery.
“Can you try calling it?” She asked him.
“My phone just died.” He told her and helped her look for it.
“You sure that you lost it here?” He asked her when he couldn’t find it.
“Yeah. I took it out to search for a meaning.” She told him.
