Chapter 47

~Present Time~

Dylan finished telling them the entire story. He was looking down silently, feeling hurt now that he was reminded of the whole thing again.

“What did she say in the letter?” Zack asked him.

“Forgive me mother, father and little brother, for I have committed a great sin by being in love with a vampire, by being with the enemy of humankind. A monster. I am disgusted and deeply disappointed in myself for not recognizing that monster sooner. Now I shall take my life in hopes that this grave sin of mine will be forgiven. I shall also…” Dylan had a hard time saying the rest of the sentence, but he forced himself to say it. “I shall also kill that monster’s child that is inside me. Such a thing should never be allowed to exist in this universe, as it will cause a great catastrophe in this world. Therefore, I must kill it. Everyone, those who have read this letter, please forgive me for my sins as I was kept in the dark.” He finished.
