My alarm woke me at 5am and at first I was really confused and disoriented.  Normally I’m a really light sleeper, but this morning I feel like I got the best deep sleep I ever have in my life.  I start to move and feel a weight on my left arm and it’s actually tingling with that pins and needles sensation when you sleep in one position too long.  I went to move it out from under whatever was holding it down, then I heard a small noise and Lindsey rolled over facing me burying her face in my chest.

I wrap my arms instinctively around her, the tingling sensation completely forgotten.  She is so tiny in my arms, but she fits perfectly.  I place a kiss on the top of her head and take in the floral scent of her shampoo.
