PROLOGUE

As I walked towards the rooftop's railing, the cool wind embraced me and the spectacular city lights welcomed me. Closing my eyes to completely shut off my mind from the chaos. A scene where my sisters keeps on harassing and bullying me, my mom who kept reminding me how useless I was, and Dad who completely ignores me and putting a blind mask on everything made me back to my senses.

The sound of the water splashes caught my attention. Glancing at my two model friends, Kendra and Trinity who dived on the pool and soothingly enjoyed the night, they are my real family.

"Hey Jada, come join us! What the hell are you doing there?"  I shook my head and chuckled.

Slowly removing the thin cloth that covers me, and exposing my red bikinis, I quickly jump off the water and swim closer to them.

"Where did you buy that bikini? Is that Victoria's secret latest released design?" Trinity asked as amusement fills her eyes.

"Yes." I plainly said.

"Woah, we should've checked it out, Kendra. I told you,  it is a limited edition as well. They are probably sold out, damn I am so envious of you Jada. " Trinity ranted.

"Next time Trinity," Kendra replied.

"By the way, Jada, have you thought of what the company offers you?" Kendra added, fully diverting the topic on me.

I rolled my eyes at her.

"I told you, Kendra, I'm not interested in it," I replied coldly and got off from the water.

"Hey, where are you going?" Kendra asked.

I'm not in a mood to stay there for long, it's cold and I didn't want to prolong our conversation as well. With the three of us, I am the only one who's not a model, but their company offered me a contract last week, and I declined. It's not my thing.

I quickly wrapped my body with a thin cloth and poured a glass of red wine. Sat sophisticatedly on the couch facing the city lights.

"Are you sure? I mean the salary isn't the issue here right? What's wrong? " Kendra asked.

I didn't notice that they were able to get off from the pool as well.

"Of course, it's not about the salary Ken, it's not just my thing," I replied coldly.

"Well the opportunity was too irresistible for us, I just hope you had a time thinking for it Jada. Anyway, once you changed your mind, the offer is still up. Companies were craving for you to work for them."

I rolled my eyes again at what Kendra said.

"Stop that sh*t, Ken, let's not talk about work and everything here, come on! This is supposed to be our rest day right? You should've just invited some hot guys here. " I retorted.

They both chuckled.

"Well even if we do, you'll just ignore them. Besides, we're both in a relationship here Jada, you know the word loyalty and commitment?" Trinity shot back.

"F*ck off." I snarled and they just laugh at me.

"How about you girl? Don't you want to feel how to float in the air and feel the butterflies in your stomach?" Kendra teased this time.

I groaned as my face crumpled in disgust.

"Men were just a pain in the ass. Stop talking sh*ts." I replied coldly and sipped on my wine.

This has been my night routine, hanging out with these two until the sun rises, not unless they have some fashion shows in the morning. I don't have a life, I don't even know what to pursue in college. I stopped studying when I reached second-year, my family owns a company anyway. Money is not a big deal on us, though I'm not sure if they'll trust me some share on that company. I smiled bitterly. n

"You know what, why don't you just put some twist on your life Jada?"

I frowned at what Trinity had uttered.

"I'm fine with my life Trinity."

"Well you know, aren't you bored with it?"

"What do you suggest then?"

They both smiled.

"What the hell? Are you planning something?" I instantly asked. I don't like the thought of those kinds of faces flashing on me.

"Do you see that?" Kendra asked pointing to the opposite building which is somehow familiar to me, I think it has been featured on Forbes magazine.

"What about it?"

"I heard the owner of that building just came in the country, today and they were having a welcome party tonight." Kendra continued, while her brows keeps on motioning ups and down.

"Then? Can you please just tell me exactly the thing here?" I shot back, I don't get it.

"Guess who owns that famous company?" She asked which made me roll my eyes again at her.

"Stop beating around the bush Ken," I warned her.

"Achilles Coleman, do the name rings a bell?" She asked.

It took me a few seconds to process the man she was talking about.

"You mean the famous Coleman, the mafia billionaire who hates women?" I asked.

"Bingo! But to clarify dear, he's not yet confirmed a mafia leader. According to my source, he's a hot guy with 12 packs abs, and a multi-billionaire." Kendra winked at me.

"Oh c'mon Ken, according to my source as well he completely hates women. There's not even a single woman working in his company, I heard they are all men. That's how he hates women. And you know what, have you heard of the killings of the woman in the past few years by a group of gangs? According to my source, he's somehow involved in that. Who knows, he's a mafia leader, and to show people how he hates women, he kills them." Trinity continously explained this time.

Confusion reigns on me.

"So what are you trying to say? Are we gonna talk about his life and everything here?" I asked sounding annoyed.

"You're exaggerating Trinity. As what I am saying Jada, how about luring that man?"

My eyes instantly widened.

"Are you insane? There's no way I would f*cking do that!" I shot back in dismay.

"Why are you, afraid dear? Who knows he's exactly the man you're looking for and the one who can change your perspective in life."Kendra replied.

"The man who'll bring rainbow in your colorless life." Trinity tolerated this time.

My jaw was left open.

"Are you hearing yourself guys?" I asked in awe.

"Some twists Jada, you love adventures don't you?" Kendra replied.

"And what would I get with that? What if that mafia kill me huh? Can you bring back my life?!"

Finding myself sneaking inside Coleman's corporation, I glanced back at my two friends who keeps on cheering me.

"How about a Bugatti La Voiture Noire for this deal? Come on Jada bring it on!"

Shaking my head remembering it. Why did I even agree to this? Well that sports car is one of my dreams, with the price is extremely expensive around 18 million dollars, it's not bad though. A side of me convinced me. I have an upcoming race as well, I badly need one for this.

With the thought of it, I continously went inside, until the guard stops me.

"Ma'am, you're not allowed here." The guard looks terrified. So the news is true.

"I have an invitation," I replied and showed the card. Kendra gave it to me, she said a friend of hers working in this company gave it to her.

"That's impossible Ma'am, no woman is allowed to enter the building. That's our ultimate rule." The guard replied.

"If you didn't allow me to get inside, you boss will surely kick your ass off out of here," I warned. My voice is full of convenience and authority.

"But Ma'am…"

"Hey, are you Kendra's friend?" The man wearing a casual outfit appeared behind the guard.

"Good evening Sir Caleb. This woman keeps on insisting she was invited…"

"Well yes, she is." The man cut the guard off.

"But isn't she allowed ?" The guard asked back.

"Don't worry about it, she's invited, did you see the invitation card she was holding?" He shot back.

The latter gave up and bowed his head.

"I'm sorry Ma'am." He uttered and gazed at me. I nodded and walk near to the man who was eyeing me from head to toe.

"Are you done?" I asked annoyed.

"Kendra never failed me, he'll surely soften on you." He commented. I frowned not getting the idea at all.

"Let's get this done," I replied.

"Woah, so feisty."

I rolled my eyes at him and he guided me inside until we get the elevator.

"What the hell do I have to do?" I asked.

Though Kendra already mentioned that I just have to lure him right? And after that, my sports car was surely waving.

"Just get inside his office and you'll see. The drug is only effective until tomorrow, so better leave him before the sun rises understand?"

I frowned.

"Hey what do you me…"

I wasn't able to finish my sentence when the elevator opens.

"Good luck dear!" He cheered.

"Hey wait what…"

The sound of the elevator closing echoed and he fully vanished from my sight. I gritted my teeth. What the hell is wrong with him? What does he mean by the effects of the drug? I am not getting it.

Roaming my eyes on the entire floor, I can't manage but to be amazed by the interior design. It's screaming wealth and expensive. My eyes were caught by the only matte black door. Frowned by the sound of bangs coming from behind those doors, I slowly walk towards it.

Was that Achilles Coleman inside?

Full of confusion was surely written on my face right now when the sound became louder, I can hear some glasses crashing down.

What is he doing? Is he breaking his furniture?

I put my ears next to the door. The loud noise completely vanished, as silenced completely reigns.

Slowly the door opens, it wasn't closed after all. I heaved a deep breath. For the sports car Jada, you can do this. Dad won't surely buy me that car even he can afford it. He'll just put those 18 million dollars into an investment instead of my luxury wants. Fully convinced by that thought I gently slipped myself inside the office.

The mess was all over the office, some vases were broken into tiny pieces and scattered on the floor. There are also some couches not in their position. Like the office just encountered a strong storm.

My jaw dropped when a back of a man sitting on his swivel chair welcomed me, he probably wasn't notified that I'm here because he was too focused on what he is doing.

"F*ck!"

"I'll kill you Caleb for what you did to me!"

"I don't need a f*cking woman! I won't ever need one!"

"I just need to release this!"

A stern voice cursing sounds furiously mad and aroused at the same time echoed. When he turned around and now faced me, my heart instantly hammered as our eyes met. I gulped when my eyes quickly shift down there. I completely recognized what he was doing. He's jerking his member off like he was too craving for a release.

"What the hell are you doing here?" His eyes were piercing on me and instantly put back his member inside his pants and glared at me.

"U-Uhm."

F*ck Jada, at this moment I know I'm doomed.

"You seemed lost woman. You're not welcome here."

I step back when he stands up firmly. I can still see it,  the lust in his eyes was too visible but it seems like he was resisting it hardly, he seemed under a strong spell.

Feeling the cold wall at my back,  my eyes instantly widened when I got cornered and it was too late to run because he was just a few inches away from me.

"Your timing was a bit good. Because at this moment I badly need you."

"H-hey don't you dare come near me," I warned in my most menacing voice, fighting his intense glare at me.

"You should've not been here in the first place. You're a woman. And none in this country doesn't know that." He shot back.

"W-what…" I wasn't able to finish my sentence when he was completely closed to me, and sniffing my neck. Will he bite me? Was he a vampire or what?

"You smells good."

"But you deserve to be punished!"
