It had been a week and a half since Gideon’s attack, but Leena was still suspicious of every person in the house. Well, everyone but Laran. Laran had been who she ran to when the attack began. It was quite the scene when she busted into the bathroom and screamed for Laran’s help. The poor guy jumped out of the shower butt naked and hurried down the stairs, through the front door, and tackled one of the males.
Leena looked around the house for a weapon, grabbing a vase that was the closest thing she could think to use to help Lanee, but by the time she got outside her sister and Gideon were gone.
