Sweet on Leena

Leena’s birthday had been forgotten the day before but hearing Rinc announce that they were going to throw her a big party now made her perk up. Sure, it was crappy of her sister to forget her eighteenth birthday, but Leena seldom held grudges, especially against the most important person in her life. After announcing the party, Rinc sent Leena and Lacee shopping. The party was only hours away and Leena was excited to make a good impression on the pack. Most had seen her around the packhouse or farm, but they never paid her much attention the past few weeks. This party would be an opportunity to show them that she and her sister were a good addition to their community, even if she was just a half-breed to them.
