06: The Miracle Of Cerberus Territory.

DABRIA'S POV:-

I opened my eyes again as I felt Zar licking my cheeks. I stretched my arms above my head and looked at him. I no longer felt that coldness inside my body. I sat up on the bed and looked around. My room was still dark. I crawled out of the bed and peeled my clothes off. "Come on, Zar. We are going to take shower together. I haven't been taking care of you all this long." I spoke to Zar as I walked into the bathroom. Zar followed me excitedly. I just knew that dogs were never that happy to have a shower. But Zar was not a dog. I knew he was a wolf. He was taller than me in height.

Zar reached to my shoulders while he was on his four feet. I never knew how tall he would be while on his two feet. Instead of the shower, I filled the tub with warm water. I added my favourite jasmine fragrance and some soup, then stepped into the warm water. Zar followed me behind. He was literally sitting on my lap. I rested my back with the walls of the tub and closed my eyes. It felt heavenly. Zar rested his head on my chest after a minute. After a few minutes, I started rubbing Zar's fur with his bathing sponge. Once he was all cleaned, I rubbed my body with the bathing flower. Once we both were all cleaned up, I drained the tup and stepped out of the tub.

I rinsed our bodies with fresh water then wrapped a towel around Zar's body first. I grabbed the other towel and wrapped it around my body. We stepped out of the bathroom. I used the dryer to dry my hair and Zar's Golden soft fur. "Awww… look at you. You look so beautiful after the bath. And your fur is shining." I spoke as I brushed his fur. Once Zar was read, I dropped the towel on the floor and went towards my closet. I grabbed a tank top and a pair of white shorts. I wore my clothes. I almost jumped as I turned around and found Zar sitting at the door of my closet. He was staring at me.

Shaking my head at him, I giggled and walked towards him. "Zar! You really scared the hell out of me. Let's go, baby. I know you might be hungry. Let's not make you wait any longer. I will get you a turkey today." I spoke to Zar in a low tone as I patted his fur. He never liked anyone touching his fur. Well, except for me. I signalled him to follow me. Without wasting any more time, I went straight towards the kitchen. For some reason, it felt like something had changed around. The maids were busy in their work without wasting their time on gossip. They didn't leave the kitchen as soon as they saw me. Now I was getting very nervous about everything.

"Leave us alone." Well, I was not comfortable around them. So I told them to leave. They all quickly bowed their heads in front of me and left. They even bowed in front of Zar. I could smell fear in the kitchen as all the maids ran out of the kitchen. I went towards the deep freezer dad had bought. He bought it only to dump food for Zar. As he only liked to eat meat, dad knew we needed a bigger fridge to have enough meat for a big wolf like Zar. I looked into the fridge and found a whole turkey in the freezer. I put the turkey in the oven and walked out of the kitchen. I couldn't eat without Zar.

I went to find my father. As always, Zar followed me behind. I gasped loudly as I saw Uncle Salvador standing in the hallway. I ran towards him and hugged him tightly. He chuckled softly and patted my head. "Finally! I thought I was going to go shopping without you. How are you feeling now, our sweet angel?" Uncle Salvador whispered softly as he pulled away from me. He looked at Zar and tried to pat his head. But Zar growled loudly and uncle Salvador stepped backwards. I giggled and kissed Zar's jaw. He was such an adorable thing. I had no idea why he always let me touch his fur but growl at the others. Maybe because he was always with me.

I loved him and he clearly loved me too. "I am sorry, Uncle Sal. He just doesn't like anyone touching his golden fur. I am fine now. Where is daddy? I wanted to see him before I could go and eat something." I whispered in a low tone as I could see that Zar's mere growl was able to scare uncle Salvador. His growl was as loud and dominating as the growl of an alpha werewolf.

"Oh! That's alright, sweet angel. I will be careful from now on. Your father is in the hall of throne. He has been waiting for you to wake up impatiently." He replied to me in a low tone as he patted my head. I nodded my head and walked towards the hall of throne.

Even though I was a grown woman, my family never stopped treating me like a child. When I was eighteen, I thought maybe I would no longer get that childish treatment. But hell, I was wrong. It was a curse for anyone to be the only child of the family. I never met Uncle Adrian. But dad, mom, uncle Salvador and his wife, Aunt Rebecca, couldn't quit it. After a little while, I just stopped complaining. I knew I was the only child in the family. I was the miracle of the Cerberus family. I entered the hall of throne and gasped loudly. There was a gold statue set beside the throne. The statue was exactly like the woman I used to see in my nightmares. As I walked closer towards the throne, I read the name clearly. "In the memory of the bravest warrior of the Cerberus territory. Eve Daemonium."
