149: The Mark

QUEEN VICTORIA'S POV:-

I opened my eyes and stretched my arms above my head. I turned my head and found King Zeus lying beside me. My heart skipped a beat as I found myself lying naked in bed with him. I clutched onto the sheets on my body, I sat up on the bed. I then let go of the sheets as I laid down on top of King Zeus. He was lying on his stomach and I was lying on top of him.

I heard him growling under his chest. Then he started snoring peacefully again. I buried my face in the crock of his neck. I breathe hitched as I felt his warm pulse beneath my face. He was not even bleeding and yet, I could sense the scent of his blood.

I licked my dry lips as I pulled my head out. I grabbed the locks of his hair that were covering the golden skin of his neck. I couldn't see his blood pumping into his veins. I shivered in thirst and this sudden lust. My fangs grew bigger and my eyes turned red. It was the very first time I was feeling that sort of thirst.
