Chapter 3

Hoodie

I was just alone in the dressing room area. I was the first to almost ruin at the end of our dance number. And it was because the new transferee was flirting with me.

Oh, Magnus boy, that doesn't really work for me... your pranks.

I first fixed myself in front of the mirror, before I prepared to leave the dressing room.

Carrying the bottled water, I walked to the door. But I stopped when something suddenly stopped there. I looked at the person, and the face, his eyes were fixed glaring at me. Those are also the eyes that wink at me, and cause I almost fell earlier in the air.

What is he doing here right now?

Frowning — when I raised an eyebrow at Magnus.

He glanced at me from my head to my feet. And for the very first time, I felt awkward. I’d admit, my attire was different from the other squad members. The others ’were slightly seductive, but mine was very seductive. But hell, I didn’t care.

What is this person doing here?

“Excuse me, you are blocking the way, Mister Transferee,” I said so that he could take his eyes off my whole being, especially with my exposed legs.

"Tamara, right?" he asked me, not minding what I’m saying.

"Nothing else. Now, why are you here?” I asked him again.

The edge of his lips lifted slightly. “Just want to know the famous campus princess in this school.” He sounded playful.

“Hmm? the game is about to start, so you’re supposed to be with your team right now. But then you’re here just to know me well? Really, and why? Isn't that enough for you to hear about me and still need to be in front of me now? Oh, c’mon, why don’t you just stalk me on social media, Mr. What’s-the-name-again?”

He grinned. It seemed so comforting to me. “Don’t tell me, you also don’t know me yet, Princess? Isn't it either have you heard enough about me? Oh, c’mon. You should do your research, Tamara. Give alert because I am quite infamous, baby,” he said proudly.

"Excuse me?"

“This school is lucky to have me. And you’re also very lucky to know me and have the chance to talk to me right now. I don't just talk to others like this, it's only to you.”

“Oh really? Oh, I’m sorry about that, Mister. It's not me, I'm not the kind of person who would waste time on anything significant. I’d better take my nap, study, and worked out than stalk ordinary people living in this world, like you. So now, please excuse me because my time is gold.”

I was about to pass by but I was shocked when he cornered me against the wall. He even approached my face while resting a hand on the wall.

I was swallowed up suddenly.

“Magnus Wellington. The star varsity player here in San Vicente. The fourth-year transferee and a certified heartthrob. Nice to talk to you again, lady.” He extended his other hand to me to shake hands.

I frowned. “I’m not even interested to know who you are. I also don’t care if you are a transfer to this school. So, get out of my way and stay away from me, Mr. Popular,” I said, trying to resist. Even the truth is my knees were suddenly softened at what he did.

Magnus just smirked and shook his head. I sighed as his face moved away slightly. But immediately my mouth fell open when he took the bottled water in my hand, then drank it without saying anything.

What the! Shit! Why did he sip my water?

I gulped when he licked his lips after he closed the bottle. He winked and gave me his hooded jacket. I was astonished I just stared at that.

“Wear it, lady. I just don’t want them to see your sexy legs. Anyway, nice dance, nice moves. I like it,” he said then he winked.

"And who told you I want to wear it?" I returned it to him when he suddenly put it on my arm.

"Me, of course."

My eyebrows twitched again. "And why, Mister?" I crossed my arms on my chest.

"Because I don't want to share what's mine, baby."

What’s with him? Oh, the nerve. When does he own me?

“Hey, arrogant and thick—faced man! I don't have time for your good time. Get out!”

“If you don’t wear this and go back there like that... Hm, you might regret what can I possibly do.” then he put the jacket back in my hand.

"Are you threatening me?"

“More than that, baby. So if I were you, wear it, at least it will cover your bare stomach and thighs, princess.” My lips parted again. “I think it’s clear to you. Again, I don’t want to see you not wearing that jacket. I'm different when I'm angry, babe.”

Gosh. I couldn’t believe it. He was really threatening me? Am I really? Huh, the nerve of this man! Who was he to order me like that?
