“We go now.” I rubbed my itchy beard. My body was a mess. Never in my life have I ever felt this weak, like a damn tick, sucked of all the life essence from my body. My body felt itchy and sick, still the black tar that coated my body where Kronos bled out of me remained.

“Maybe you should clean up first,” Parisa offered, but I shook my head. We needed to strike now, rid of our father that dared tried to do this. Next time, we wouldn’t be so lucky. Kronos only grew stronger as the years went by and he was close this time, too close.

The gods looked to me. For the first time since my betrayals against Hera, they looked to me for what to do. Their eyes were stern, holding a grudge against our father. They could all do what they willed, go down and destroy them together without my permission, but they didn’t. They waited for my word.
