~Mirabelle~

The drive back home was awfully quiet. Mariano kept stealing glances at me every minute and every second to see if I was okay. I on the other hand was just looking outside the window, doing absolutely nothing but thinking. Thinking about what could happen if anything goes wrong.

"Hmmm..." I sighed. "At least now we know I have the same fate as my mother. She too had complications with Gabriel's birth."

*Mira, you're nothing like your mother." Mariano told me, pulling the car to a stop.

"If only that was true." I said as I opened the door and stepped out of the car.

He rushed after me. "Belle, wait!"

I ignored him and went inside.

"Belle, listen to me, you're not your mom. You'll be fine. It's just an abruption." He said behind me as I walked into our bedroom.

"That was what was said about my mother too but do you know it turned out?"

"Belle..."

"Please, Mariano, I don't want to talk about it. Please."

He sighed, nodded his head and walked out of the room.
