SIXTY FOUR

“Shit!” My whole body went still when I heard Lucian curse. He stood up from his hovering position and got down from the bed. I sat up with confusion. My mind already going to different directions I stayed on the bed not moving.

“What happened?” I asked when he wouldn’t stop running his hand through his hair saying incoherent words. I did not answer the question. His behavior was beginning to irritate me.

“What the hell is wrong Lucian, you’re scaring me” I yelled getting off the bed to put my clothes back on.

When I did I turned to Lucian,

“We should start the day” I turned towards the door but he held me back.

“Don’t leave angrily Raina” He begged.

“You don’t get to ask that of me with the way you acted. What the hell happened. Did I do something wrong or I’m I not_” He stopped me from continuing my rant when he held my face in his palm.

“I’m sorry okay? But we can’t do this, we shouldn’t” I scoffed.

“Yeah” I said not in the mood to have another argument with him.
