LIVE OR DIE

I came over towards the bed and sat down beside Nagisa. She shriveled at the sight of me.

I glanced down at her and smiled at her pretty face. I've never seen anyone so frightened like the way she was frightened.

Her lips trembled as she spoke. " What's happening? Who're you?"

It's funny isn't it? How many people who'd killed me always asked me that very same question.

This power is amazing. You could get killed by your enemy and then when you return back to life, they start asking who you are. As if it were the first time seeing you in their life.

" I'm Israel," I said. " Your Nemesis."

I was putting into words exactly what Lorelei had said to me. Now it's being directed to Nagisa.

Nagisa gulped. " You're a ghost?"

" More or less," I said. " Surprised?"

Her eyes widened. " There were two of you. How's that possible?"

I didn't want to get into details how I've worked everything out under her nose to capture her. It wasn't necessary. I needed something from her and I'm gonna get it
