Worse Than Beasts

When Sarah's eyes fluttered open, she was surrounded by the same darkness that had dwelled even before she blacked out. Her only source of light were the little streaks that escaped through the barred window.

Sarah lifted her head a bit and glanced around in confusion. It wasn't until she saw the shackles left on the floor that she remembered the events from a few minutes ago. Fear instantly gripped her, causing her to shuffle to her feet and rush off towards the exit, despite the slight headache she was experiencing.

The rogue was nowhere to be seen, but Sarah didn't think too hard on it. All her mind was set on was escaping this frightening place. She snatched the key from the floor as she was passing by it and started up the stairs. Once at the top, she pulled the door open and was ready to make a beeline for her room...

...but the two figures which stood behind the door, stopped her in her tracks. Damon was standing

The storyline and writing deteriorate with each chapter. Each character is infuriating, dialogs and inner monologues are pitifully ridiculous.

That just goes to show how stupid a man can be even an “alpha” as that. To be so easily manipulated without any rational thinking .... How did she find the key location? How did she knows which door the key was for? Why would she set a rogue free to begin with when she had been a slave 4 years?
