Diana opened her eyes as soon as the mild fragrance of flowers hit her olfactory bulbs. Opening her eyes, the first thing she saw was the sun that was staring back at her from the horizon. His bright red color was now faded to orange. Tears welled up in her eyes as just like her it seemed to lose all its spark and spirit and appeared dull and weary.

Averting her eyes, she then looked around only to find the verdant grass, the exotic flowers which had also started withering, the snow-covered mountain which didn’t look appealing as usual, and the huge, lush valleys that were staring at her in sorrow.
