Chapter 4 I want to marry you, your majesty

The Third-Partys

POV

Inside the luxurious presidential suite, a slender man in a white bathrobe stood facing the floor-to-ceiling window.

The red liquid in the wine glass reflected the moon in the sky. He shook his wrist, and the moon was stirred up.

He seemed to see a familiar figure in the night, who made his handshake and spilled half of the red wine onto his chest.

Just then, the voice of a guard came from behind him, "Your Majesty, Cynthia, the daughter of Rosebud Pack Alpha, requests an audience."

The young king straightened his wine glass, glanced at his wet chest, and coldly replied, "No way."

"As ordered." The guard replied respectfully and left.

Cynthia did not lose heart when she heard The Lycan King's reply that he did not want to see her, which was to be expected.

So she implored The Lycan King's guard, "Please pass on the message for me once more. Say that Cynthia has come to sincerely apologize to him. I am willing to do anything if The Lycan King will only be relieved of his anger."

It would be hard for anyone to refuse the request of a beautiful girl, especially one who was still wounded. The wound in Cynthia's wrist had split open on her way to a quick run. Blood was dripping down in drops.

The guard turned into the suite once again, and he relayed Cynthia's words to The Lycan King as they were.

The young king looked up at the moon above. The moonlight was faint, and a few tiny stars were scattered around. The whole sky looked depressing, which made The Lycan King's mood sink as well.

"Let her go back, I won't see her. Still less will I accept her apology."

He turned his face sideways, revealing only half of his profound features. The cold moonlight fell on the bridge of his high nose, making him appear as delicate and ruthless as an artist's sculpture.

At Cynthia's expectant gaze, the guard slowly stepped out, then shook his head at Cynthia.

"Go back, girl. The Lycan King has rested." The guard could not bear to repeat The Lycan King's unkind words in full to the beautiful and fragile girl in front of him, so he changed to a more euphemistic way of saying things.

Cynthia was unwilling to go back just like that; The Lycan King was her only life-saving straw, and she would not give up so easily.

She took a few steps back, raised her head, and shouted to the suite high above, "Your Majesty, please give me a chance. Please let me see you for a moment. Please."

"Please do not raise your voice ..." The young guard hastened to stop her.

Cynthia, "Your Majesty, please accept my apology. Please forgive me for my capriciousness. You can do whatever you want to me as long as you can stop being angry. Even if, even if it means cutting out my tongue or blinding me. Please, please help me, I need your help ......"

The guards tried to tell her to leave, but Cynthia knelt on the ground, "I will not leave. I will kneel until The Lycan King sees me."

The guard sighed deeply in the face of this stubborn girl.

The sound of their voices drew another guard over, "What's going on? Why is there so much noise?"

It was the girl's voice! Cynthia looked up and saw that the new guard was a girl, and she looked exactly like the young male guard. They were twins.

Cynthia begged the female guard, "Please let me see His Majesty The Lycan King. I need his help. Please."

The lady guard was softer. She saw Cynthia's bleeding wrist, pale face, and shaking body; she knelt down and pulled out a medicine bottle to stop the bleeding from Cynthia's wound.

"Go home," the lady guard advised Cynthia, "My brother has already asked for you twice, and His Majesty will not easily change his mind. Maybe you can come back tomorrow."

Cynthia shook her head, her pretty eyes full of pain, "It cannot wait until tomorrow. I don't have time. I must see The Lycan King this evening."

The lady guard also sighed as she took off her cloak and covered Cynthia with it, "I will go and ask The Lycan King for you. But I can't guarantee that he will agree to see you. I wish you and me luck."

"Thank you, thank you very much."

Cynthia's POV

It was late at night when I left the Rosebud Pack. It must have been 2,00 a.m. by now. I had been running wildly for at least two hours in wolf form.

The night sky was getting darker and darker, and the temperature was getting colder and colder. I knelt on the somewhat damp ground and felt like my legs were frozen.

So cold. But my lungs and throat were on fire as if they were going to smoke.

Every bone in my body felt misaligned, and I was uncomfortable. But I thought that I had asked for it. It was a punishment from the moon goddess. It was the price of caprice.

If I had not loved the wrong man and trusted Jenny blindly, my father, mother, and brother would not have died one after another.

The Rebel Army would not have occupied the Rosebud Pack, and the innocent residents would not have died.

Since the Moon Goddess had given me the chance to start over, I had to change all that, no matter the cost.

I kept staring at the gate, but I was too weak, and my consciousness was getting fuzzy. I finally couldn't hold on and collapse.

The moment before I passed out, I seemed to see a tall figure walking outside.

"Is that you? Lycan King?"

I tried to see the person's face, I even reached out to touch it, but I lost consciousness completely.

The comer caught my hand that had been raised to mid-air, held it tightly, then picked me up off the ground and turned around to the hotel.

Time flies, and dawn comes.

The warm sunlight kissed My eyelids, waking me from my dream.

My eyelashes fluttered a few times. Then I slowly opened my eyes. I felt my body sinking into a soft place as if I was lying on a cloud. Everything was warm, comfortable, and nice; only a vague pain came from my wrist.

I lifted my hand and found that my wrist had been bandaged. Someone had treated my wound and wiped up the blood.

My head had just woken up and was still a little confused. Where was I?

"Now that you're awake, leave."

A magnetic man's voice reached my ears. I looked over warily, and then I saw the honorable man I most wanted to see - The Lycan King.

" Your majesty the King!"

I immediately remembered my mission. I sat up from the bed, clinging to the hem of The Lycan King's garment, afraid that he would leave.

"I appreciate that you are willing to see me."

The Lycan King pulled his clothes out of My hands and stepped back indifferently, "I just don't want to see someone die at my door. Bad luck."

The young king's hair was a tremendous chestnut blond in the sunlight. He had purebred Lycan blood running through him, making him taller and stronger than all regular werewolf Alpha.

He was as noble and handsome as he was rumored to be. No wonder all the girls in the pack dreamed of becoming his wife and becoming queen.

I would have been the object of envy of all the girls in The Lycan Kingdom, but I did not cherish it. I must now be the object of ridicule of all the girls in the world. Not loving The Lycan King loves a rogue.

But strangely enough, a half silver mask covered the left side of the Lycan king's face with a half silver mask. He didn't wear this mask when he came to propose to me yesterday.

I did not spend too much time dwelling on the mask. I lowered my head and sincerely apologized to Lycan King, the man who was supposed to be my husband.

"I'm sorry, Your Majesty. Please forgive me for my rudeness last night..."

"You weren't just rude to me last night. You never respected me yesterday, and now. I hate being disobeyed and disturbed by others."

I was afraid that he would leave. Once The Lycan King was gone, I would never have the chance to see him again in my position.

I clung once more to the hem of The Lycan King's garment, then climbed on his arm,"I'm sorry. You were right yesterday. I will regret it. Yes, I regret it! "

"I shouldn't have rejected you, I shouldn't have failed the Moon Goddess' arrangement. You are my mate, the only mate the moon goddess has granted. I can feel the mate bond between us. "

"Please forgive my previous offense, and please take back the punishment for the rosebud pack. I am willing to apologize to you in front of all the werewolves. I want to marry you and become your wife."

The Lycan King's expression was complicated. He seemed briefly touched, but when he glanced at My wrist and thought of the servant reporting to him that I had slit my wrists to show my determination to be with Daniel, his expression returned to indifference once again.

"It's ridiculous. Someone rejected me at day and begged at night. Are all girls so fickle, or is it just you? I think it's a tease, don't you?"

I looked into Lycan King's eyes and said firmly, "Your Majesty, I am serious. I swear on my life that I didn't lie."

The Lycan King tipped his chin with a mocking smile. He leaned close to me and slowly removed the mask from the left side of his face,"Really? Even after seeing my face like this, you still want to be my wife?"

I looked at The Lycan King's face in shock.

There was an additional black scar on that handsome face.

How did this come about? I remembered no scar on The Lycan King's face yesterday.

What shocked I even more, was that I recognized that the scar was not normal; it was black from the knife smeared with Wolfsbane.

Wounds infected by Wolfsbane will keep enlarging and festering and gradually make people lose their minds and become crazy. And there is no antidote to this poison.

No one in this world knows the horror of Wolfsbane better than I because, in my previous life, my brother Pete was the victim.

"You're scared?" The Lycan King seemed to take My silence as fear, and he sneered, "You regret that you just swore, right?"

I moved up and pressed my lips to The Lycan King's scar. I answered his question with a kiss.

"I want to marry you. Your majesty the King."
