Chapter Eighty-four

[Third person's point of view]

"It's fine if you come back tomorrow morning," Laura replied after putting the fruit in her mouth.

Eugene frowned as he watched his wife eat. In his mind, it appears that his woman doesn't care about him leaving and would prefer not to return.

"It's as if you want me to leave, and you even said I'd be back tomorrow; it's a little painful, but it's okay," Eugene replied fatly while peeling an apple.

Laura was surprised and immediately laughed when she noticed his pouty face while peeling the fruit. It's like a child sulking and complaining, being overly sensitive and mischievous... Laura smiled as she realized she could easily recognize and adapt to the man's behavior despite her lack of memory of him.

Laura defended herself, saying, "That's not what I meant."

"You said I could come back tomorrow, even though I said I will just be gone for a while," Eugene continued to think before standing up and putting the knife and bowl away.
