CHAPTER 2
XEN
Xen was more of a lone hunter than his brothers Kane and who Kai who worked as a duo, the two couldn't separate on quest. They understood each other very very well than they did with Xen.Xen's eyes were now no longer blue, they were converting to dark black. He was hungry and tired of being in the forest hunting for a werewolf girl called Lisate. Xen had a picture of Lisate in her back pocket. He could take it out- sit down and study it for as long as he would wish. The picture of Lisate looked exactly like her centuries ago lover Merisa.He wished that this would better be true because sometimes pictures lie. He couldn't wait to meet Lisa and see if she really resembled Merisa. Though he did not want Merissa tragedy memories in his head, he still believed that seeing someone who looked like her would make him feel alive again.
Xen stopped under a tall pine tree. He faced his ear to the east trying to eavesdrop to the far side of the forest but he heard nothing pleasing, only birds chirping. He started moving again. Morning sunlight penetrating through the trees- sparkling to his face, turning his dark black hair to gold. Xen's stomach started mumbling, a clear sign that he was hungry, either of blood or real food. Since they started the search the last month, Xen and his brothers hadn't eat alot. They had not even gone for a hunt like they used to do.
Xen reached the edge of the pine forest and perched straight on the tarmac road, facing to the north were he suspected that a car was coming that side.
The car came closer, and Xen still stood attentively on the road. He didn't want to attack and suck blood of the people who were in the car, he just wanted to ask them about what he and his brothers were searching for LISA MERWIN, a werewolf. The annoyer- angry driver stopped the car right in front of xen.
"What are you thinking young man, get the hell out of the road" The driver yelled. The driver looked pretty older than Xen, maybe he was 30 or something below, but he wasn't older than Xen who looked younger than him.
"Relax, I just wanted your attention" Xen said, trying to force a smile on his smooth face.
"Is that how you get a drivers attention?, you could have just waved" the driver spitted on his cracked old mini cooper window.
"anyway" Xen said, moving to the drivers window. "Do you know this girl?, Have you seen her somewhere or heard of her?, her name is Lisa Merwin". He showed the driver a picture of Lisa Merwin.
"hm, no I do not know her and I've never heard of. Now if you excuse me I would like to move on" The driver started the engine and rode off.
Xen stood to the left side of the road, studying the other half of the forest. And then he splinted into the dark forest.
KANE AND KAI
Kane and Kai had been wondering around the widest forests in and out of the town in search of the girl so called Lisa Merwin. These two believed that they would find a wolf packs and Lisa would maybe be found in one of the packs.
Kai stopped suddenly. His ear was vibrating, that's because he was hearing a sound of something coming from far away from where they were standing. Probably, a car was the one making Kane's ear vibrate.
"You hear that" Kai asked, looking at Kane who had already set his ear to the direction the sound was coming from. Kai concentrated and he finnaly caught the sound too.
"I do. Its a car coming this way" Kane said, pointing to the far east." Let's go for it"
The two brothers splinted in a speed too fast that no human or any creature eye could follow or detect, they were too fast.( hybrids, werewolves and vampire's are faster)
In macro seconds Kane and Kai were on the road standing still, staring at the mini cooper that was coming meters away from them.
The driver obediently and seriously pulled of, stomped out of the car and stood straight like a soldier in front of the two hybrid brothers.The driver was somehow acting rude, he didn't know what the boys were and what they were capable of.
This was the same guy Xen had met and asked about the girl Lisa merwin, this was the second time this had happened to the man in one day. Was he lucky or the other way around.
The driver faced the two serious- not smiling brothers like he wanted to declare war.
"What do you want fools?. The driver asked, being his second time someone standing on the road blocking his way, he was really pissed off.
"Not much" Kane said calmly and gently, stepping closer to the driver, leaving Kai a few inches away from him. He looked the driver directly in the eye and asked, "do you know this girl?, her name is Lisa Merwin".
The guy moved his lips like he wanted to say something, perhaps he wanted to say that someone also asked him about the same girl, but he didn't say that. Instead, he studied the picture and spat down, he almost spat on Kane's shoe, oh no, he did spat on it.Kane violently threw his arm on the man's big throat and managed to lift him up with no much effort though the dude seemed gigantic. "Do- you- know- her?" Kane asked again word by word so that he could imagine how serious the issue was.
"No..i.. Do...i.. Don't know her" the guy stugggled to speak with the heavy strong hand on his throat. "See, very simple but you wanted to be hard. Shame on you" Kane unscrewed his hand off the man's neck . "now get lost".
The guy scrambled to his car, started the engine and went away from the scene as fast as he could.
Kane faced Kai as the car was maters away from them."I noted something from that guy" Kane said.
"I did too, he was hiding something and I pretty sure that he is not human" Kai said
"I think his a werewolf, his scent caught my nose though it was disturbing. But I'm really sure that he is a werewolf and he knows what we are looking for " Kai said and scratched his blonde hair.
"Let's go aftet him" Kai suggested.
The two brothers splinted into the faster. Their speed was a hundred times faster than the car so it was easy for them to level up with the car.
And now they were running according to the cars speed. Then suddenly the car slowed down and and veered to the left side of the road and disappeared in the forest. Kane and Kai followed the car, trying not to be noticed. Exactly what Kane and Kai expected the dude's journey ended some habited place in the forest.probably this was a wolf pack, what they had been looking for the entire day.
