"Let me take you to the couch," Ethan broke the silence after a long while.

"No, I can do it," she's a doctor and had an idea what was going on with his body.

Moriah sat next to him. She placed her feet on the couch and hugged her knees. She waited for him to speak.

"I have a blood clot in the brain," Ethan said, his voice trembling.

"I refused to have a surgery because of the risk of losing my memory. I would rather die remembering you than to live forgetting you. To forget you is worse than death," Ethan replied, tears escaping his rims.
