The small child was the centre of attention for everyone. Even in their terror, they were taken aback. They've heard of people with elemental abilities before, but it's been decades. They've all been extinct for centuries. They only know about it because it is a fairy tale passed down from generation to generation.
The entire room was encased in ice. She even managed to halt Alec's movement by freezing his legs to his knees. Ivy burst into tears when she realized what she had done and how the werewolves were staring at her. “Mommy! "I'm looking for my mother."
Ivan moved up to hug her to prevent her from becoming even more enraged. Who knows, maybe she'll freeze everyone in the entire room. “It's okay Ivy, we'll go get mom now, but can you unfreeze his legs so we can go?”
As she shook her head, fat tears streamed down her face. She had no idea how to thaw him out; it just happened. She had no idea why she froze him in the first place; all she knew was that the prospect of her mother abandoning her made her anxious. The more she considered it, the more enraged she felt. She had a strong need to be let out, which was different from how she felt when she wanted to transform into a wolf. So she did, only to find the entire area encased in ice. Ivy chatted with her brother in hushed tones because she has no idea how to unfreeze him.
Ivan concentrated his gaze on Alec, who was paled from fright. "Bring out our mother right now or else," he threatened coldly. "I won't hold her back if she decides to freeze everyone here to death."
Alec burst out in cold sweat because his aura was so strong. He was certain that in a few years, this young man would pose a serious threat to everyone. He is certain that the boy's wolf is an Alpha! Alec had no choice but to obey!
Alpha Jasper dashed to the packhouse after receiving a few signals from their Alpha. He motioned Murphy to bring their mother out when he observed the sight. 'What other secrets does this small family have?' he couldn't help but wonder. it seems there's more to this family than the eyes see.
Just as he had this thought, Murphy messaged him through the mind link.
‘Alpha, you need to come, I've got a little problem here and there's no way in hell I can get their mother out. She... She's ah! Come quickly!’
Jasper rushed out of the packhouse cursing at his Betas, they don't know how to handle small matters themselves. But to think about it, if Ivy, a child could cause this much destruction, what will the mother do?
The thought made me add his pace. They've only been here for just a few hours and his pack has lost the little

Meanwhile, at Silver Moon Pack ~
Rakel yelled commands at his pack members, seemingly unconcerned with the fact that they had been training for hours. He has gotten colder and more vicious after his mate, Delaney, abandoned him.
He has trained unbreakable armies of wolves in the five years she has been gone, wolves capable of fighting thousands of men and emerging victorious.
After she departed, he blamed himself because Delaney would not have felt bad if he had exercised some self-control. Worst of all, he has no idea where she went or whether or not she is safe. Worse, she had cut them off from their mating bond. He and Knox were both baffled as to how she managed to pull it off. They have no way of knowing where she is. The fact that she's human scared them more because she could easily get hurt. Will she age when they finally meet? She was twenty one when she left them, she should be 26 years old by now. He badly wanted to know what she look like now. Both he and Knox had no Idea Delaney was not the same person they know back then. They don't know another reason she left was that she found out she's a hybrid.
When Rakel thought of Knox, he clenched his teeth. That damn vampire! They haven't gotten any closer over the years, but they are no longer considered enemies. It doesn't change the fact that they both hate themselves.
It took Knox two good years before he decided to listen to whatever Rakel had to say about that night. Then another extra year before they both started working together to find their mate. Rakel thought he was stubborn, but he realised the vampire was too strong-headed and always refuses to give in. He has hidden away from everyone after Delaney broke his heart, everyone including his kingdom.
As bad as that sounded, Knox's kingdom is currently ruled by a woman – his most trusted advisor who betrayed him. Still, the person in question doesn't seem concerned about this, he was shamelessly kicked out of his kingdom and has gone into hiding. Rakel has tried to search for him at some point, but it was fruitless. Knox only shows up when he wants to be found or when he has important information to deliver about Delaney.
“Again!” Rakel growled.
Right at that time, Mira, the pack nurse rushed to his side and whispered. “Alpha, he is here again. Your visitor. ”
Rakel instantly knew who she was talking about, in other not to get the wolves rattled up about a vampire in their midst, they decided to keep it hidden from the pack. Rakel released his armies from training and went to find Knox.
The first thing he saw when he walked into the room was that Knox didn't appear to be himself. His long, silvery white hair had been shaved off, leaving a fringe on his forehead. He looked more handsome and sensual with his new hairstyle, which, when combined with the icy aura surrounding him, made him look like those runway models. In a gorgeous black suit and a killer tie, a six-foot-plus man stands flawlessly controlled. His icy grey eyes fell on Rakel the moment he stepped in and Rakel hate to admit but the hairstyle suits him. He appears to be in much better shape than he has been in the previous five years.
“To what honour do I owe your surprise visit today, vampire?”
Rakel poured himself a glass of Scotch and gulped it without offering Knox any. Alcohol doesn't work on him but, he likes the burning feeling he gets whenever he drank it.
“I've found some clues about my mate, Delaney. I thought I should tell you the good news before I go after her werewolf.”
Rakel became enraged almost immediately, just as Knox had predicted. Werewolves, no matter how hard they try to keep their cool, are prone to get enraged over little things.
With a loud growl, Rakel flung the glass in his hand against the wall, watching as it shatter. “For the last time, she's not just your mate. She's OUR mate!”
Knox shrugged. “Whatever you say werewolf.”
Rakel growled but decided to focus on the main thing. “What clue did you find? You're sure she's not deceiving you like she the last time, right?”
They later found out when they couldn't find Delaney that she was giving them wrong clues, misleading them into believing that she was at a particular location. Knox was initially taken aback by her ability to deceive them, but as time progressed, he became increasingly frustrated. This time is different; he knows where she is and will punish her if he locates her.
Rakel locked eyes with Knox, and it was clear that they were thinking the same thing. "Speak quickly, my wolf and I are getting tired of this."
"Well, I didn't quite figure out where she is right now, but I know where she was last week. She'd be on her way to Australia if my estimate is correct. If we don't find her soon, I'm afraid she'll be in trouble, especially if they discover she's your pack's Luna. There are ferocious wolves there. But she's human, she might blend in among them.” Knox stated with a shrug.
Rakel stood up and glance at him. “Then, what are we waiting for? Let's go hunt down our mate. She's been gone for too long.”
Knox didn't move, he merely glance at him before speaking. “During this mission, I'll be in charge. If you can't do it, then you can remain here training your armies. While I go deal with her.”
The moment he said that Rakel's claws elongated. One thing Alpha hated was being under someone, but if it involves his mate, he could compromise. He glared at the vampire and gritted, “Fine! But, you have to promise not to hurt her, after all, you are the reason she left.”
Knox glanced away from him, feeling guilty. Even though he's been mad at Delaney for choosing Rakel first, he also understood her and know why she did it. It's just that he wasn't in his right sense then, so he didn't go after her when she left.
“I won't hurt her.” he finally murmured after some time.
Nodding, Rakel quickly changed his clothes and barked orders to his Beta. Once he was done, they both left the Silver Moon pack with one thing on their mind.
Delaney.
By the time Alpha Jasper got to Delaney's room, he found his Beta hiding in a corner trembling from fear. Gritting his teeth, he turned to look at Delaney only to subconsciously step back. To say he was taken aback would be an understatement; after seeing her, he couldn't help but wonder, 'How is this possible?'Delaney's little fangs were extended and her eyes were a shade of red. He didn't need anyone to tell him he was staring at a hybrid - a wild, angry hybrid, to be exact. Unlike other packs, they adore Hybrids rather than killing them on the spot out of fear.He gulped as her eyes fixed on him the instant he stepped in. He has never been terrified in his life as an alpha. This was the first time he realized what it was like to feel terrified. However, after some consideration, he decided to approach her softly."Listen to me, we're not bad people; we've brought you here for your protection. Without the protection of a pack, an unmated wolf should not be in this town. Everywhere
Meanwhile, at the border! * Rakel held onto Knox, glaringly making Knox sigh in frustration. To him, the moon Goddess is punishing him for his sins by putting this werewolf as an obstacle in his life. These two weeks have been torture to Knox, he would have killed this wolf if not for Delaney, instead, he had to endure. “What kind of plan is that?” Rakel growled. “Why do I have to stay here while you go meet her?” “Because you wolves are stupid. You act before you think, and you don't have teleportation ability like I do, so remain here and cause distraction. They will be here soon.” Knox said still, Rakel refuse to let go of him. Knox took a deep breath to calm his anger. Why can't this damn wolf follow instructions? “Since you can teleport, then why don't we go together? I'll act as your shield if things go wrong. Besides, we don't know if she was here, we only smelt her scent on our way. It will take time to locate her especially if this pack has heavy defences.” Rakel retorte
Ivy, on the other hand, gathered her brothers in order to speak with them. "I saw Daddy today, I'm serious. He appeared in mom's room earlier on. That's not all, you guys resemble him to an uncanny degree."Her older brother, Ivan, snorted. “Yeah, right, we don't have a father.”“Do you think I'm lying?" Ivy snarled and huffed vehemently. "Think about it: isn't it strange that Mom has been changing location? She appears to be fleeing him. Mommy's safety could be jeopardized.”“I think dad is a bad person,” Ian muttered from the side.Ivan agreed with a nod. “We can't allow him to bully mama if he's here to bully her. However, we need to make sure he's our biological father.”“Oh, he didn't come by himself. He was with a vampire with incredible abilities! Not just that, the vampire is so cute.” After Ivy said that, the boys stared at her angrily. “You shouldn't admire the bad guy.”“We need someone's help to confirm if he's our father. Alec.” Ivan made an educated guess. "Then we must
On the other hand, Knox and Rakel were arguing about why they should share the same room. Well, let's just say Knox refused to share a room with Rakel while Rakel was giving him reasons why they should share, making Knox frustrated to the point where he wanted to pull out his hair. It seems they are bound to argue over everything, even after their newfound peace. “Get the f*ck out, wolf! Just because we have the same mate doesn't mean we should share everything!” “That's right, we don't have to share everything, but you don't understand werewolves as I do. Since we are in their territory, they might attack, so we need to be cautious–” he paused. “ Wait, do you think I'll take advantage of you in your sleep?” Knox sneered as he gave him a look. “Do you think Vampires sleep deeply like you wolves? You'll be dead before you even think about touching me.” Rakel thought about it and shrugged. “Don't worry, I despise the idea of sharing a room with you as well. I'll sleep on the couch.”
Knox and Rakel were already surrounded by the rogues when they broke free from the chain. They had trouble breathing due to their foul odour. After viewing the burns on Rakel's body, Knox glanced at him. He grabbed up the chain from the floor to use as a weapon and asked, "You good?" Rakel hissed, "I shall survive." "Let's just get this done." Knox stood there watching as the wolf lunged at the rogues, his claws lengthened. Rakel's half-crazed expression worried him for some reason because Rakel has always been laid-back, but he'd been acting strangely since learning about Delaney. Knox chose to concentrate on the matter at hand, shaking his head, so he tightened his grip on the chain and charged after him. * At East Coast Park. . “Mommy, how do I look?” Danna followed behind Ivy as she exited the room. Jasper had given the kids new clothes for the party this evening, which made Delaney uncomfortable. Jasper was clearly attempting to demonstrate that he is capable of caring f
Thirty minutes later! Delaney was a writhing mess on the floor. The pills were far too strong for her, unlike anything she had ever encountered. She's removed most of her clothing at this time, revealing her breasts to Jasper. Why can't she just beg him? Jasper has never met such a stubborn person in his life. What's the big deal about that? For God's sake, she's in pain.He squatted in front of her after an idea came to him. He was curious as to how long she could hold off.He kissed Delaney's neck, his tongue running toward her breasts as he leaned forward.Delaney, who had nearly lost her mind, let out a passionate moan and pressed herself against him. She was in desperate need of a male, she was tired of fighting it. She started envisioning Knox and Rakel's faces for some reason, so when Jasper touched her, she didn't feel repulsed. She yearned for more. She yearned for his touch. She grasped Jasper's head and pulled him in for a kiss without thinking. Jasper couldn't help but r
They mustn't know. Scratch that, they can't find out what she is – that she's a hybrid or else she'd be screwed. Good lord, she is royally screwed already! There are many things that could go wrong if she continues staying with her mates. Secondly, her kids are not safe at the moment, she needs to get them out from there. Lastly, she doesn't know if she should tell Rakel the truth about the children, but then, if she did, she'd have to face Knox. He will feel like she has betrayed him if he finds out. She knows she can't keep it hidden forever, but she needs to give them both time to calm down. She'd have to let them do anything they wanted with her, but she'd also have to earn their trust again. The question is, how will she win back the love and trust of two enraged alpha kings? How is she going to persuade them to forgive her? She had no idea that her efforts would be in vain. She had grossly overestimated her friends' disdain for her at the time. The good news was that they
Just as she glanced up to answer, something caught her attention. A cellphone! She quickly withdrew her gaze from it so they wouldn't suspect her as she replied. “A surgery. Something happened, I had to go for a survey or else my eyes will be damaged forever. It's cool, don't you think?” she smiled at them. They both glanced away. Rakel angrily stood and stormed out of the house while Knox stood up. But before leaving, he shot a look. “We are not the mate you knew before, you lost your rights of being our mates the moment you ran off. Maybe you'd have had a chance if you hadn't started off with another man so don't think you can use your old tricks to win us back. It won't work so don't bother trying. Back then... I'll admit that I was hurt seeing you with Rakel, but when I came back, you were gone! You left instead of fixing things. There are times when I even had to wonder if you even had feelings for me... Us. Was it ever real?” His cold eyes scrutinised her as if he could se
