Chapter 63: Changed Style

Day after day, Everly grew stronger and healthier compared to the time when she woke up from a coma. Aside from recuperating, she had been busy writing songs. She wanted to give them to Diane as soon as possible. So, she worked hard for it.

"Everly, I found this little box under your drawer. What is this?" Manager Kim asked while holding a jade box.

Everly was stunned at first but regained her composure, "It's a little keepsake for me. A bit private." she said. Manager Kim handed her the box.

"What's inside?"

"Nothing. It's just something a dear person left for me," she replied while looking at the jade box. Manager Kim didn't force her to say anything and stood up to continue what she was doing earlier.

After Manager Kim left, Everly carefully opened the box and the heart-shaped necklace came into sight. "It's been a long time since I saw you."

She took the necklace from the box and caressed it slowly, "Why aren't you returning to your original color? Haven't I completed the mission
