Chapter 10: Disturbance

“Oh, okay. Sorry,” Vivian replied when Zander seemed to really dislike the mention of divorce. She just said it so to wake him up anyway and it was very effective.

Further, she knew it was not possible. Vivian could not run away from Zander on her own unless he, himself, released her.

She was not seriously thinking about divorce anyway. But if it ever comes to that, she could at least get a taste of him before it happens.

Vivian sighed. His kisses and his touch didn’t disgust her. If she was being honest, his ministrations felt great. Just as it did the morning after their wedding night. It sent heat throughout her body and made her heart run wild.

The fact that her husband was good-looking and well-built made things even more complicated. He had everything a girl could fall for.

Zander hugged her and kissed her tenderly on the cheek this time. She closed her eyes and enjoyed the sensation of his warm body against hers. She was truly relieved he was alive.
