Chapter - 5

Every moment is a fresh beginning.

Narrator point of view

The weather of Italy was warm with cool breeze providing comfort to the people. Tanya was sitting in the car with uncle Theo's sons Harper and Joey who had come to pick her up. There was a small smile playing on her face after seeing the small kids giggling with each other. Her long hair were flying like a free bird who had just been freed from her cage . Harper who was sitting with her was delighted to see her happy after going through so much. Joey was also smiling seeing their little bunny being happy through the side-view mirror . They had already planned to take her out on a tour in order to make her feel homely, but he is not so sure because the growing number of mafia problems in the country. Though, there is a fully systematic form of government but it's the mafia who use to rule, normally they did not kill innocent people but you never know. After all they are the people who can finish you within a snap of their fingers. Whereas, Drake is furious nowadays he had been on a killing spree eliminating all of his enemies who dare to go against him and mess with his family. He is the one who get to decide who should live and who should die.

Tanya(P.O.V)

(On top is what she wore after changing at the airport) I am feeling quite positive today. I am looking forward to the school but I am nervous too. Well, we have been driving for 35 minutes now. Harper is sitting with me and Joey is driving the car. The moment they met me on the airport these two monkeys starting hooting and started calling with that stupid nickname little bunny, ugh they know how much it irritates me. Though I can see them smiling it feels like they are hiding something from me. On the way to Uncle home various areas were covered with police tapes. After questioning the same to Harper he told me with a tiring smile that some places in the state are full with criminals and the police is taking care of that matter. I decided not to push it further. Suddenly, the car come to a halt, and the great driver Joey told us that we have reached.



Wow, was the only word which left my mouth. Seeing my reaction both of them giggled and said it's just the starting bunny you are about to see your room. After greeting aunt alina and uncle Theo and resting for a while in the guest room they gave me a tour of the house. Aunt is such a sweetheart she was taking care of me like a small child and was feeding me . It remember me of my mother seeing my eyes getting moist aunt quickly hugged me followed by everyone. The whole time I was pampered the family feeling was present there. Joey was so excited to show me my room . In order to make thing special he blindfold me and guide me all the way through the room. After reaching there he remove the blindfold suddenly a gasp left from my mouth. It was similar to my room in India but with different colours. It's beautiful bhai (Brother) I said to Joey. As hugged me and I feel somewhat safe in his arms .



After saying goodnight to everyone and video calling Zainab I fell asleep in the warmth of the warm bed.

Theo(P.OV.)

After seeing our tanya happy we had a small family meeting in which I strictly prohibited the kids and alina to tell tanya about the mafia. I know it's wrong not to tell her but now all she need is a family and not some bad people to worry about. I will surely tell her but after some time. Her school will start after one week because of the chaotic condition. May every wish of tanya will be fulfilled. Amen. After talking about our business we decided to call it a night.
