CHAPTER TWENTY SIX

~THE GROUP~

“You did good!” Carly said, “At first I honestly thought you would crash and burn.” I chuckled. We headed out of the stadium towards the school parking lot. The game was over and we won. Now that I looked back, I had no reason to be nervous. The crowd was there for the game and that’s where most of their attention was for the night.

“Carly, wait up!” Ashley yelled running over to us. She breathed, trying to catch her breath. She must have had a hard time making her way through the crowd to catch up to us. “Do you guys know where we’re celebrating?” I shrugged. It was the first time I was hearing something about a celebration. But we’re teens. Of course we want to celebrate anything and everything. We like the idea of drinking, smoking and sex. At our age it was normal.
